SPBH Suicide Prevention & Awareness Event

In honor of National Suicide Prevention Month, Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital and Stilly Valley Health Connections are hosting a FREE community event to encourage open conversations about mental health and suicide prevention. The goal of this event is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where community members of all ages can access resources, learn lifesaving skills, and start the conversation about mental well-being.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a variety of local mental-health-focused organizations offering resource tables and interactive activities for both youth and adults.

Event Highlights

  • Therapy Dogs: 3pm-5pm
  • T-Shirt Tie-dying
  • Rock Painting
  • Suicide Prevention and Awareness Presentations
  • Resource Fair
  • Grab-and-go snacks will be provided throughout the event
  • Light dinner will be provided for all attendees at 5pm
