Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Keynote Speaker at Grand Opening of the 115-bed Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital

Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital, Washington State’s newest psychiatric hospital will be hosting its Grand Opening on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Marysville, WA. Washington State Governor Jay Inslee is the keynote speaker, along with guest speakers, Marie Zackuse, Tulalip Tribes Chairwoman,  Dr. Richard Kresch, President and Chief Executive Officer, US HealthVest, Alfie Alvarado-Ramos, Director, Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, and Jon Nehring, Mayor of the City of Marysville. The Grand Opening will be held at the hospital located at 3955 156th Street NE off the major interstate highway, I-5 at Exit 206, in Marysville.

Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital provides acute behavioral health and addiction treatment services to youth, adults and senior adults. Comprehensive services include free 24/7 assessments, inpatient and intensive outpatient care. A full range of specialized programs such as a Women’s Program, a Co-Occurring Disorders Program and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Program will be offered along with integrated healing practices for Native Americans. Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital is committed to serving all patients, regardless of ability to pay or payer source.

Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital is a 70,000-square foot newly constructed, state-of-the-art hospital. Marysville, Washington June 12, 2017 – US HealthVest announced the opening of Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital, a 115-bed psychiatric hospital that provides a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care to patients of all ages.
